Saudi U-20 national team beats Nigeria in friendly

Saudi U-20 national team beat Nigeria 2-1 on Sunday, at the Austrian Football Federation Stadium, at Bad Waltersdorf preparatory camp, within the fourth phase of preparations for FIFA U-20 World Cup Poland 2019.

Khaled Al-Ganam and Hamid Al-Gamdy scored the Young Green Falcons goals in the 56th and 78th minutes, while Nigeria goal came in the 66th minute.

Saudi team manager, Khaled Al-Atwi started the game with the following starting lineup: Abdel Rahman Al-Shemri, Mohnad Al-Shanqeti, Khalifa Al-Dossary, Hassan Tempekti, Hazem Al-Zahrani, Inrahim Mahnashi, Farag Al-Ghasian, Firas Al-Gamdy, Yehia Al-Nageia, Khaled Al-Ganam, Turki Al-Amar.

The Saudi team will return to training on Monday, ahead of facing Colombia in friendly next Wednesday.

It must be mentioned that, Saudi U-20 National team have been grouped alongside France, Panama and Mali in the fifth group, in FIFA U-20 2019 World Cup which will start on the 23rd of May.
