The Social Responsibility and Public Participation Committee announces the suspension of the Ideal Audience Award

The Committee on Social Responsibility and Public Participation in the Saudi Football Federation announced the suspension of the ideal audience award for the current sports season 2019-2020.

The committee's decision came due to the emerging coronavirus (Covid-19) crisis, which led to the suspension of fans' attendance for matches.

For his part, Chairman of the Committee Nazih Al-Nasr explained that this decision was based on the principle of equal opportunity, expressing his hope that this award will return in case that the circumstances that led to its suspension end.

It is noteworthy that the committee announced earlier two prizes for the current season, one of which is for the social responsibility of clubs and the other for the ideal audience, with the aim of enriching the sports arena with initiatives that have impact and sustainability, as well as enhancing the aspects of discipline, attendance and effectiveness of encouragement.
