The Saudi Federation issues a circular regarding the new regulations for the Financial Efficiency Regulation

Today, Monday, the Saudi Football Association issued a circular to Prince Muhammad Bin Salman Professionals Cup League clubs regarding regulations for registering new players during the winter transfer period, which begins on January 11 and continues until February 7, 2021.

The Saudi Federation affirmed that obtaining the financial competency certificate is a prerequisite for registering new players during the upcoming winter transfer period, instead of the salary marches that were dispensed with.

The Financial Efficiency Regulation aims to implement the standards regulating club management to apply best practices of financial governance to ensure its stability and achieve the desired goals.

It is noteworthy that the Financial Efficiency Committee includes in its membership a working team from the Ministry of Sports, the Saudi Football Federation and the Saudi Professional League.
