The Greens Face Qatar at the Closing of the Asian Group Stage

The National Team will conclude its matches in the group stage of the 2019 Asian Cup when it faces Qatar team tomorrow, Thursday, at Zayed Sports City Stadium in the UAE capital, Abu Dhabi.

Saudi Arabia has 6 points, maintaining the second place in the group with the goal difference between it and Qatar, one round before the end.

The Greens’ nets have not been hit by any goal over the two matches and it succeeded to score during the four halves that it played in both matches.

This match will be the fourth between the two teams in the Asian Cup. The last three continental matches between the two teams ended with a tie and were in the group stage.

If the Greens manage to win over Qatar, it will maintain the first place in Group E and face the second-placed team in Group D, in which Iran team maintains the lead with a total of 6 points, while Iraq is the second with the same total.

If the Greens maintain the second place, it will face the team ranking at the first-place in Group F, in which Uzbekistan maintains the lead with 6 points, which is the same total of the Japan whose team ranks in the second-place.

The Greens will play again at Zayed Sports City Stadium in Abu Dhabi – the stadium at which the National Team was crowned the champion of the 1996 Asian Cup and the stadium that will host the final.
