A Tie ending the Green Falcons Team's Match with South Korea in Preparation for the Asian Cup

A goalless tie ended the National Team's friendly match with its South Korean counterpart at Baniyas Stadium in the United Arab Emirates in preparation for the 2019 Asian Cup.

The National Team's Coach entered the match with a formation consisting of Mohammed Al-Owais, Mohammed Al-Brik, Mohammed Al Fattil, Ali Al-Balihi, Yasser Al-Shahrani, Abdullah Ateef, Hussein Al-Meqhawi, Abdul Aziz Al-Bishi, Salem Al-Dossari and Hattan Bahebri and Fahad Al-Muwallad.

On the bench there were Walid Abdullah, Mohammed al-Yami, Abdulelah Al-Amri, Hamdan al-Shammari, Ibrahim Ghalib, Abdullah Al-Khaibari, Yahia Al-Shehri, Ayman Al-Khalif, Abdul Rahman Ghareeb and Mohammed Al-Saeiri.

The first half of the match witnessed a number of attempts against the Korean goal, but without hitting the net, and the green-shirted team was in control.

In the 60th minute of the match, Coach Pizzi brought in Mohamed Al-Saeiri, who participated with the green-shirted team for the first time, as an alternative to Fahad Al-Muwallad.

Coach Pizzi brought in Abdul Rahman Gharib to replace Hattan Bahebri at the 67th minute.

The Korean team missed a penalty kick in the 82nd minute by Ki Sung.

Coach Betzi gave the opportunity to Abdullah Al-Khaibari to participate at the expense of Hussein Al-Meqhawi, and Hussein Al-Shamrani to replace Yasser Al-Shahrani.

The green-shirted team began the fourth and final stage of preparations for the Asian Cup, which will be held in January 2019, through a camp in Abu Dhabi, where Coach Juan Antonio Pizzi intensified the preparation for the tournament.

The tournament draw attracted the National Team to Group E with Qatar, Lebanon and North Korea, starting on January 8 against North Korea at the Maktoum Bin Rashid Stadium at Al-Shabab Club
