Al-Batin and Al-Jeel Qualifying for the Two Holy Mosques Cup Quarterfinals

Al-Batin and Al-Jeel have qualified for the Two Holy Mosques Cup quarterfinals after winning over Al-Raed and Abha, respectively.

Al-Batin won 2-1 over its guest Al-Raed. Al-Batin initially prevailed by Jhonnattann Benites in the 19th minute, after which Farhan Hasani snatched a tie for Al-Raed in the 49th minute, so the two teams needed additional time, which Al-Batin settled with a goal by Raed Al-Ghamdi in the 108th minute.

In the quarterfinals, Al-Batin will play against Al-Ittihad, which won 3-0 over Al-Taqadom yesterday, Monday, in the Round of 16.

Al-Jeel has qualified after having won over Abha with one clean goal in their match that went into additional time, with the match's only goal having been scored by Edgar Vieira in the 111th minute.

In the quarterfinals, Al-Jeel will play against Al-Nasr, which prevailed over Al-Fayhaa with 6-0 in the Round of 16.

The Two Holy Mosques Cup eighth-finals kicked off yesterday, Monday, with 3 matches, which witnessed the qualification of Al-Nasr, Al-Ittihad and Al-Hilal at the expense of Al-Fayhaa, Al-Taqadom and Al-Faisaly, respectively.

The Round of 16 competitions will be concluded tomorrow, Wednesday, with 3 matches: Al-Qaisumah against Al-Ettifaq at Al-Batin Stadium, Al-Taawoun against Al-Shabab at King Abdullah City Stadium in Buraydah, and Al-Ahli against Al-Wahda at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah.
