Al-Ettifaq, Al-Taawoun and Al-Wehda qualifying for the Two Holy Mosques Cup quarter finals

Today, Wednesday, Al-Ettifaq, Al-Taawoun and Al-Wehda have completed the teams of the Two Holy Mosques Cup quarterfinals.

Al-Ettifaq won 4-1 against Al-Qaisumah at Al-Batin Stadium.

Al-Ettifaq's goals were scored by Fakhreddine Ben Youssef in the 10th and 72nd minutes, Mohammed Al-Kweikbi in the15th minute and Hazaa Al-Hazaa in the 61st minute, while Al-Qaisumah's only goal was scored by Fuad Salami in the 55th minute.

Al-Taawoun succeeded to win over Al-Shabab with three clean goals at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium.

Al-Taawoun's goals were scored by Rabee Sufyani and Héldon Augusto from a penalty, and Ibrahim Al-Zubaidi in the 10th, 41st and 45th minutes, respectively.

The original and additional times of Al-Ahli and Al-Wehda match, held at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium, ended with a positive tie of 1-1 before Al-Wehda won 3-1 from the penalty shootout.

Al-Ahli prevailed by a clean goal by Djaniny Tavares in the 40th minute, and then Rómulo Otero snatched a tie for Al-Wehda five minutes before settled for Al-Wehda from the penalty shootout.

Hence, the teams that qualified for the quarterfinals are: Al-Hilal, Al-Ettifaq, Al-Taawoun, Al-Wehda, Al-Nassr, Al-Jeel, Al-Ittihad and Al-Batin.

Al-Hilal will play against Al-Ettifaq, while Al-Taawoun will play against Al-Wehda, and the two winners will play against each other in the semifinals.

On the other hand, Al-Nassr will play against Al-Jeel, and the winner of this match will wait for the team to qualify from Al-Ittihad and Al-Batin match in the semifinals.
