The Chairman of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, Qusay Al-Fawaz, has, on behalf of the Saudi football family, conveyed the deepest congratulations and blessings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud – may Allah bless him – for the Fourth Anniversary of the Pledge of Allegiance, stressed that our dear country is witnessing this anniversary while enjoying safety, glory and prosperity thanks to Almighty Allah and then to the wise policy led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz.
The Chairman of the Federation said in his speech during the draw of the "Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup": "Today, as we meet at the draw ceremony of the "Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup" for this season, we would like to reiterate what we have stated since the first day, i.e. the strategy of the Saudi Arabia Football Federation stems from the Kingdom 2030 Vision, which is supported by an ambitious nation, a flourishing economy, a vibrant society, with our beacon being the words of His Highness the Crown Prince words: "We do not work except with the ambitious people". Our ambition is to direct the Saudi football – God willing – on the right track, which is appropriate to the value and position of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and to keep pace with the aspirations of its prudent leadership.
The Chairman of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation added: "As we launch the draw of the most precious Cup, we in the Saudi Arabian Football Federation are looking forward that this season keeps pace with the strong mobility witnessed by the Saudi football, thanks to the generous support of His Highness the Crown Prince and the great interest paid by His Excellency the Chairman of the General Sports Authority and Chairman of the Saudi Arabian Olympic Committee, Mr. Turki bin Abdulmohsen Al Sheikh, and live up to the name it carries".
Al-Fawaz pointed out that the draw coincides with the countdown to the National Team's preparations for Asia Cup which will be hosted by the UAE in January. This offers a proper opportunity to have the honor of hosting those who made the first-ever achievement in the Saudi football, the stars of Asia 84, in the draw ceremonies, to get inspired by their determination and willpower, with the view to present the image that everyone hopes for.
Al-Fawaz concluded his words by saying: "In conclusion, I pray to Almighty Allah to help all clubs to display the desired performance throughout the rounds of the competition, and that the dear title be earned by the club that deserves it due to outstanding effort, performance and dedication".
