Discipline, Ethics Committee statement

With reference to what had been voiced recently on the protest submitted by several clubs against the participation of some players who have been registered as amateurs.

Discipline and Ethics Committee of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, SAFF, wishes to point out that, in accordance with article 125 of the Regulation of Discipline and Ethics Committee, the legal committees shall issue the operative part of the decision without showing expressed reasons.

The party who wants to get the reasons of the operative part of the decision shall make a submission in writing within five days from the date of being notified.

The committee confirm that article 125 did not specify a fixed time period to deliver the reasons of the decision, this matter left to the committee's discretionary powers, taking into consideration that date of registering the appeal starts from the date of receipt of the reasons of the decision.

The committee clears that its approved mechanism is the same of the FIFA Disciplinary Committee with regard to article 116 and also the same of the Regulation of Discipline and Ethics Committee of AFC (Article 111).

The committee confirms confidence in the stepts taken with appreciation to what had been voiced in the recent past.
