The Referees Committee of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, SAFF, concluded its second assessors' course that took place in Riyadh and was attended by 52 assessors including the international assessor Lim Yong from Mauritius committee Chairman Khalel Galal and committee member Mohamed Hamid.
The course was held over three days and addressed several topics like the role of the assessor and what should be evaluated in addition to some tests on football laws, off-side cases and video cases.
The session also discussed the proper way to give referees grades, video cases and the ideal way to discuss some cases with the referees after the matches.

General instructions were given to the assessors at the end of the session.
On the other hand, the international assessor Lim stressed the importance of the role of assessor in developing referee and scouting new talents in order to raise the performance of the referees confirming that the assessor must be honest in his reports to serve the public interest of both the referees and the Referees Committee.
