Al-Hamdan hat-trick gives Saudi U-23 perfect start to AFC U-23 Championship qualifications campaign

Saudi U-23 national team began their AFC U-23 Championship qualifications campaign with a big 6-0 win over Maldives, at Prince Faisal Bin Fahd Stadium, in Riyadh.

Saudi strarting 11 comprised: Hassan Tembkti, Abdalla Al-Amrim Abdel Rahman Al-Garib, Naser Al-Omran, Ayman Al-Khlef, Abdel Rahman Al-Yami, Abdalla Yossif, Abdalla Al-Hamdan, Ayman Al-Hogeli, Mohnad Shanqeti and Mohamed Al-Ribie.

Al-Yami put the Young Green Falcons in front after 25 minutes before Abdalla Al-Hamdan added the second goal in the 27th minute.

At the beginning of the second half Abdel Rahman Al-Gharib made it 3-0 before Al-Hamdan netted his second and third goals in the 66th and 73rd  minutes before Ayman Al-Khlef concluded the big victory with the 6th goal in the 78th minute.

AFC U-23 Championship qualifications Thailand 2020, Group D matches will be continued until March 26th.

It must be noted that Saudi Arabia will play the second game against Lebanon on March 24 before concluding its games against UAE on March 26.
