Under 21 National Team Meeting Iraq in a Friendly Match on Friday

Tomorrow, Friday, under 21 National Team will play its first friendly match as part of its preparatory camp held in Riyadh, which will continue until the 28th of this month, within the framework of the preparatory program for the 2020 AFC U-23 Championship Qualifiers.

The Greens will host its counterpart, the Iraqi team, at Riyadh Club Stadium on Friday, at 7:30 pm.

At the field level, the National Team held its training session today, Thursday evening at the Leadership Preparation Stadium, under the supervision of Technical Manager Saad Al-Shihri and the assistant technical team. It started with exercises on reaction, followed by exercises on high pressure. Training session was concluded with exercises on defending free balls.

It should be noted that the Greens will host in March the matches of its Group, also including the teams of the UAE, Lebanon and the Maldives, in the qualifiers for the Asian Cup to be held in Thailand at the beginning of next year. The top three teams of the tournament will qualify to the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
