Tomorrow, Monday, the technical staff of the Under 20 National Team will start an adaptation program with the technical staff of Spain's Real Betis, which will be technically supervised by Spanish Coach Quique Setién, following the agreement concluded between the Saudi Arabian Football Federation and the Spanish club.
The technical staff of the Youth National Team, which won the last AFC Under 19 World Cup and qualified for the 2019 World Youth Cup in Poland, consists of coach Khaled Al-Atwi, his assistant Ahmed Al-Malki, fitness trainer Abdullah Al-Muhaidib, goalkeeping coach Majid Al-Ghanim and technical analyst Zamil Al-Tamimi, accompanied by coordinator Mansour Al-Abdullah.
The adaptation, which will continue until February 10, includes many technical issues, such as attending training sessions and technical lectures for the first team at Betis Club, accompanied by the technical staff of the team, seeing the progress of work, discussing the technical staff about this, as well as attending and following up the team's matches in the Spanish league, in addition to the joint workshops to be held with the technical staff of the Spanish team.
For his part, the Technical Manager of the Under 20 National Team, Khalid Al-Atwi expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Chairman of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, Qusay Al-Fawaz, for giving the technical staff the opportunity for to take full advantage of Spanish Coach Quique Setién, who is one of the most prominent names in the field of football coaching and education, hoping that this experience will be of maximum benefit to the National Team during its participation in the 2019 Under 20 World Cup in Poland.
Al-Atwi praised the idea that the Chairman of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation adopted and turned it into a work program on the ground, thanking him for the great support that he and his technical staff have received for optimal preparation of all staff working in the team that will participate in the World Youth Cup to be held in Poland.
