Saudi Under 14 National team concluded on Wednesday its preparatory camp in Khobar, which took place during the last four days, for the players of the eastern province clubs, within the strategy of managing junior national teams.
Mohamed Amin, coach of the Saudi Under 14 National team, summoned 34 players for the camp.
The Young Green Falcons started training today, Wednesday, evening at Al-Qadsya Stadium, Khobar, with shooting exercises, followed by acquisition exercises before concluding the training session with a short maneuver.
For his part, Mohamed Amin, coach of the Saudi Under 14 National team, pointed out that the long term goal of the Under 14 national team is to prepare gradually and early for the next continental and international competitions, starting with AFC U-19 Championship (For players born in 2005) and its qualifiers, until reaching 2028 Olympics.
"For players born in 2006, the goal is the preparation for AFC U-16 Championship in 2022 and its qualifiers, the long term preparation makes the players capable of competing at very high levels in the official tournaments", he added.
"Our two camps in Jeddah and the eastern province are very successful at all levels and a third camp will be held in Riyadh as these camps aims at scouting new talents in every province and after that establishing a data base to elect the best players for the final phase, in order to achieve the long term goals", he concluded.
