Saudi U-16 national team beats Azerbaijan

Saudi U-16 national team overcame Azerbaijan 2-1 on Sunday, at the Stadium of The Football Federation of Macedonia, in the second game of the International Friendly Championship, organized by The European Football Federation, UEFA, which runs until the 26th of March.

The Saudi team got the lead very early after two minutes through Khaled Magrashi before Majid Khalifa added the second goal three minutes before the end of the first half, while Azerbaijan consulate goal came in the 54th minute.

The Young Green Falcons coach started the game with: Nawaf Shiaan, Khalifa Al-Dossary, Mohamed Bakr, Saleh Bernawi, Walid Saber, Faisal Abdel Wahed, Abdalla Zeid, Sohaib Al-Zeid, Khaled Magrashi, Majid Khalifa and Mohand Barah.

The Saudi team will resume training on Monday within the preparations for Georgia game on Tuesday, in the concluding game of  the International Friendly Championship, in Macedonia, within the preparatory program for The AFC U-16 Championship 2020 qualifiers, which will be held next September.
