Prince Turki Bin Talal visits Saudi U-20 national team camp

His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Talal bin Abdulaziz,  the Governor of Asir, visited on Friday the preparatory camp of the Saudi U-20 national team, which extends until April 26th within the third phase of the preparation program for FIFA U-20 World Cup Poland 2019.

His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Talal welcomed the presence of the Saudi team in Asir Province, then he demanded the players to do their best to achieve positive results befitting the Asian champions, in FIFA U-20 World Cup, which will start next month.

On the ground, the Saudi team continued training on Friday evening under the supervision of coach Khaled Al-Atwi and his assistants, as the training kicked off with passing exercises, followed by exercises on winning the second ball, before concluding the session with a small manoeuvre on one half of the pitch.

For his part, midfielder Abdel Mohsin Al-Qahatani took part in the physical training after the improvement of his condition, while Mohnad Al-Shanqeti will join the training in the coming two days.

The medical staff preferred to rest midfielder Farag Al-Ghashian because of suffering hamstring strain in the left knee.

The Saudi team will continue training on Saturday with two sessions.

It must be mentioned that, Saudi U-20 National team have been grouped alongside France, Panama and Mali in the fifth group, in FIFA U-20 2019 World Cup which will start on the 23rd of May.
