Saudi U-20 players undergo mandatory medical checks in preparation for World Cup

Saudi U-20 national team players underwent mandatory medical checks required by The Fédération Internationale de Football Association, FIFA, ahead of participation in FIFA U-20 World Cup Poland 2019, as a matter of routine to ensure the safety of the players.

The medical checks included vital analysis, EKG and echo.

On the ground, the Young Green Falcons continued training on Thursday evening at Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz Stadium, under the supervision of coach Khaled Al-Atwi who imposed specialized exercises for the three lines to raise their ability in finishing attacks and closing gaps.

On the other hand, midfielder Khaled Al-Ganam did not participate in the training as he suffered ankle sprain as he got two days off before starting rehabilitation, while Mohnd Al-Shanqeti was rested by the medical staff for suffering knock in the tendon of the gluteus muscle of the right leg, as he will start rehabilitation in the coming two days.

For his part, Abdel Mohsin Al-Qahtani continued his rehabilitation program with running around the pitch, for suffering class one tear in the abductor muscle.

The Saudi team will continue training on Friday with two sessions.

It must be mentioned that, Saudi U-20 National team have been grouped alongside France, Panama and Mali in the fifth group, in FIFA U-20 2019 World Cup which will start on the 23rd of May.
