Saudi U-20 national team resumes training at Austria camp

Saudi U-20 national team resumed training on Monday, at Bad Waltersdorf preparatory camp, within the fourth phase of preparations for FIFA U-20 World Cup Poland 2019, after beating Nigeria 2-1 on Sunday in a friendly game.

The Saudi team players trained under the supervision of coach Khaled Al-Atwi, at Thermain Stadium, as the coach divided the players into two groups, the first one comprised the players who took part in Nigeria friendly and performed recovery exercises, while the second group conducted ball possession exercises, followed by two separate exercises one for the forwards and the other for the defenders, before concluding the training with applying tactical ideas aimed at activating attack

It must be noted that the Young Green Falcons preparations for world cup was started in January with Dammam camp which witnessed two friendlies against Senegal, then the second phase took place in the second half of March with camps in Riyadh and Murcia in a row.

The Saudi team faced Uruguay and Argentina in Murcia.

The third phase of preparations took place in Abha last April, as the Young Green Falcons played two friendlies against South Africa.
