The technical staff of the Under 20 National Team concludes the coexistence program with Betis counterpart

The technical staff of the Under 20 National Team concluded the coexistence program, with Real Betis technical staff headed by Quique Setién, which took place at the course of the last two weeks.

The coexistence program included expanded meetings with Setién and the members of the Spanish team technical staff, in addition to running bilateral workshops encompassed the coach of the Under 20 National Team and his Betis counterpart and also attending and following up training sessions and matches of all the teams of the club, this included the first team, and the official matches in addition to visiting the headquarters and facilities of the club.

The coaching staff of the Under 20 National Team, that won the AFC Youth Championship in 2018 and qualified for 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Poland, consists of: head coach Khalid Al-Atwi, assistant coach Ahmed Al-Malki, fitness coach Abdullah Al-Muhaidib, goalkeepers coach Majed Al-Ghanim and technical analyst Zamel Al-Tamimi and they were accompanied with the coordinator Mansour Abdalla.

It should be noted that, the coexistence program of the technical staff of the Under 20 National Team, was organized with the support of the Chairman of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation Qusay Al Fawaz, who was keen to offer all support by creating a good climate to the members of the technical staff of the Under 20 National Team, during their preparation, to participate in the 2019 World Youth Cup in Poland.

For his part, Under 20 National Team coach Khaled Al-Atwi extended his thanks and appreciation to the Chairman of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation Qusay Al Fawaz, for providing the opportunity to benefit from the experiences of Betis coach, which is a prominent name in the field of coaching, hoping that this experience will reflect a great technical benefit to the U 20 team, which is preparing to participate in the 2019 World Cup in Poland.

"the coexistence program included a lot of technical activities and we hope these activities will be reflected effectively on us as a technical staff of the Under 20 National Team, these activities included attending the training sessions, the matches of the first team and the junior teams, in addition to running individual and  collective workshops with the technical staff of the first team and also the juniors' teams coaching staffs to know the details and the mechanism of their work and we have received from their part warm reception", Al-Atwi said.

"We targeted through this experience working in a professional environment and the choice to get this experience of coexistence with coach Quique Setién comes as a result of his style and philosophy approach, that is close to our working with the Saudi team style. ", he added.
