Under 16 National Team Defeats Northern Ireland in "Sport Shin" Championship


The under 16 National Team won 2-1 against its Northern Ireland counterpart, in their match held today, Wednesday evening, at La Nucia Stadium in Alicante County, Spain, held as part of the third round of the World "Sport Shin" Championship.

Ali Abdul Raouf first scored for the green-shirted team in the 34th minute of the first half of the match; his colleague, Muhannad Barah, then scored the second goal in the 67th minute of the match, while the single goal of the Northern Irish Team was scored in the last minute of the second half.

The Technical Manager, Abdulwahab Al-Harbi, included in the main list of the match: Nawwaf Al-Shi'an as goalkeeper, and Saleh Barnawi, Ali Al-Suwaiti, Walid Ayyash, Ahmed Al-Jeledan, Faisal Al-Abdulwahid, Fawaz Al-Mutairi, Khaled Majrashi, Badr Al-Harbi, Abdul Aziz Al-Eliwa and Ali Abdul Raouf.

On the other hand, the green-shirted team will resume tomorrow, Thursday, its exercises to prepare for its encounter with the Mexican Team on Friday evening, as part of the competitions of the fourth round of "Sport Shin" Championship, in which the green-shirted team is participating as part of its preparatory program for the 2020 Under 16 Asian Cup Qualifiers.

It is worth noting that the competitions of the World "Sport Shin" Championship includes, alongside the green-shirted team, the teams of Spain, Mexico, Russia, Northern Ireland, and the Czech Republic.
