Yossif Anbar to coach Saudi Arabia on interim basis

The Saudi Arabian Football Federation, SAFF, appointed the national coach Yossif Anbar on interim basis to take charge of Saudi Arabia National team from 18-26 March 2019.

Yossif Al-Gadir and Moshib Zeyad will be the assistant coaches, Abdel Latif Al-Hosini appointed as a fitness trainer and Hamd Al-Yamey will be the goalkeepers coach.

The Green Falcons will play two friendlies during their next camp in Riyadh؛ in the first game Saudi Arabia will face United Arab Emirates on 21st of March in Abu Dhabi before facing Equatorial Guinea in the second game after four days in Riyadh.

On the other hand, the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, SAFF, has approved the plans of the camps of the junior national teams؛ the U-23 National team will start a camp on the 18th of March within the preparations for AFC U-23 Championship qualifiers.

Saudi U-20 national team will hold three camps in Riyadh, Spain and Dammam respectively from the 15th of March until the 8th of April, within the second phase of preparations for FIFA U-20 2019 World Cup.

The Young Green Falcons will face Uruguay and Argentina during these camps.

The Saudi U-16 national team will take part in International Friendly Championship within the preparatory program for AFC U-16 Championship 2020 qualifiers.

The championship will be held from 18-27 March 2019, with the participation of Macedonia, Azerbaijan and Georgia.
