MBS League week 23 records and statistics: Al-Nasr close gap on Al-Hilal

Matches of the 23rd round of Prince Mohammed bin Salman League for Professional Clubs were ended on Saturday.

The round witnessed 6 victories and two draws؛ as Al-Shabab beat Al-Faisaly 2-1, Al-Ahli beat Al-Qadsya 2-1, Al-Taween beat Al-Raed 2-1, Al-Nasr overcame Al-Ittifaq 3-2, Al-Batin beat Al-Fateh 2-0,Al-Ittihiad beat Al-Fayhaa 2-0, Al-Hilal held to a 1-1 draw to Al-Wahda and Al-Hazm and ohod drew 2-2.

Al-Nasr the second on the table reached 52 points to close the gap with the leaders Al-Hilal to four points while Al-Shabab come third with 43 points followed by Al-Taween the fourth with 42 points then Al-Ahli the fifth with 40 points.

Here we present the important records and statistics of the round:

- 24 goals were scored, with a ratio of 3 goals per match as 12 goals were scored with the right feet, 4 with the left feet and 8 goals from headers.

- The foreign players scored 19 goals while the Saudi players netted five goals.

- 2-1 was the most repeated result as it took place in three matches؛ Al-Shabab and Al-Faisaly, Al-Taween and Al-Raed and Al-Ahli against Al-Qadsya.

- Al-Taween's Cameroonian striker Leandre Tawamba stays atop goal scorers list, with 18 goals, one goal ahead of Al-Hilal's Bafetimbi Gomis and Al-Nasr's Abdel Razik Hamdalla.

- Total attendance of the matchday games reached 76301 fans as Al-Ittihad game with Al-Fayhaa recorded the highest attendance record with 32162 fans.
