MBS League for Professionals records, statistics: Al-Nasr go top with injury-time derby win

Matches of the 25th round of Prince Mohammed bin Salman League for Professional Clubs were ended on Saturday.

The round witnessed 8 victories for Al-Hazm 1-0 over Al-Fateh, Al-Fayhaa 2-1 over Al-Batin, Al-Taween 1-0 over Al-Wahda, Al-Ittifaq 3-2 over Al-Qadsya, Al-Raed 5-4 over Al-Ahli, Al-Nasr 3-2 over Al-Hilal, Al-Faisaly 3-2 over Al-Ittihad and Al-Shabab 2-1 over Ohod.

Al-Nasr needed a last gasp winner against Al-Hilal in Riyadh derby to go top of the table one point ahead of Al-title holders, while Al-Shabab remained 3rd with 47 points one point ahead of Al-Taween the fourth, then Al-Ahli come 5th with 40 points.

Here we present the important records and statistics of the round:

- 32 goals were scored, with a ratio of 4 goals per match.

- The foreign players scored 16 goals while the Saudi players netted the same amount of goals.

- 11 goals were scored with the right feet, 9 with the left feet, 11 goals from headers in addition to an own goal.

- 43 yellow cards were shown while 3 red cards were given in the round.

- Four penalty kicks were awarded ؛three of them were converted while one penalty was missed.

- 3-2 was the most repeated result and took place three times to give Al-Ittifaq, Al-Nasr and Al-Faisaly victories over Al-Qadsya, Al-Hilal and Al-Ittihad respectively.

- Al-Nasr became the team with the most wins with 18 victories, while Ohod is the team with the fewest victories with only three matches.

- Al-Hilal is the team with the fewest losses with two defeats on the other hand Ohod is the team with the most defeats with 16 defeats.

- Al-Hazm and Al-Fateh are the teams with the most draws with 9 games for each team, while Al-Qadsya with 3 ties is the team with the fewest draws.

- Al-Hilal have the best attack with 58 goals, while the worst attacking record belongs to Ohod with 19 goals.

- The best defense is for Al-Shabab who only received 17 goals while the worst defensive record is for Ohod with conceding 50 goals.

- Al-Nasr's Abdel Razek Hamdalla stays atop goal scorers list, with 22 goals, three goals ahead of Al-Taween's striker Leandre Tawamba then comes Al-Hilal's Bafetimbi Gomis in the third place with 17 goals.
