Al-Shabab, Al-Taween open MBS League for Professionals round 27 with wins

The matches of the 27th round of Prince Mohamed Bin Salman League for professionals were opened on Thursday with two games.

At Prince Faisal Bin Fahd Stadium in Riyadh, Al-Shabab beat Al-Faisaly 2-1.

Bubacar Trawally gave Al-Shabab the lead in the 17th minute before Moubarak Boussoufa netted the second goal in the 75th minute before Luisinho scored the consulate goal of Al-Faisaly in the 82nd minute from penalty spot.

Al-Shabab's total moved up to 43 points in the 3rd spot on the other hand Al-Faisaly's frozen at 30 points in the 8th place.

AL-Taween clinched a hard-fought win over Al-Raed 2-1 in Al-Qassim derby, at King Abdullah Sport City Stadium.

Rabie Sofiani netted twice in the last minutes to turn the game around after Saleh Al-Shehri gave Al-Raed the lead from a penalty kick in the 53rd minute.

AL-Taween reached 42 points in the 4th place while Al-Raed's total frozen at 25 points in the 10th place.

The matchday games will be contiunued with 4 games on Friday؛ as Al-Ahli the 5th with 37 points will be guested by Al-Qadsya the 11th with 24 points at Prince Saud Bin Jalawi Sport City Stadium.

Al-Hilal the leaders with 55 points will host Al-Wahda the 6th with 35 points at King Saud University Stadium.

Al-Nasr the second with 49 points will face Al-Ittifaq the 9th with 8 points at King Fahd International Stadium.

In the last match of the day Al-Ittihad the 15th with 16 points will host Al-Fayhaa the 13th with 19 points at King Abdullah Al Jawhara International Stadium.

The round matches will be concluded with two matches on Saturday؛ in the first game Al-Batin the 14th with 19 points will visit Al-Fateh the 7th with 32 points at King Abdullah Bin Jalawi Sport City Stadium.

In the concluding match of the matchday Al-Hazm the 12th with 23 points will receive at their stadium Ohod the 16th with 13 points.
