Al-Taawoun Defeats Al-Wehda in the Second Day of Round 12 of Prince Mohammed bin Salman League for Professionals

Today, Friday, the matches of the 12th Round of Prince Mohammed bin Salman League for Professionals were resumed with one match, whereby Al-Taawoun won 1-0 agaist its host Al-Wehda in their match held at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium.

Al-Taawoun's total moved to 21 points, thus rising to the 4th place, while Al-Wehda's remained the same, maintaining the 5th place, with the difference of goals from Al-Taawoun.

The only goal of Al-Taawoun and the match was scored by Heldon Augusto in the 76th.

The round matches were opened on Thursday with Al-Batin winning at home against its counterpart, Al-Fayhaa, by one goal scored by Fahd Al Juhani in the 50th minute.

Al-Batin reached 11 points, maintaining the 14th place, while Al-Fayhaa's stayed at 12 points in the 11th place.

Al-Qadisiah won 2-0 against Al-Ettifaq at Prince Saud bin Jalawi Sports City Stadium.

Al-Qadisiah's two goals were scored by Ahmed Al-Zein and Elton Jose in the 29th and 95th minutes.

Al-Qadisiah's reached 14 points, maintaining the 9th place, while Al-Ettifaq's stayed at 15 points in the 8th place

Al-Shabab won 1-0 to Ohod at Prince Faisal bin Fahd Stadium in Al Malaz.

The only goal of Al-Shabab and the match was scored by Luiz Antonio in the 50th.

Al-Shabab's total moved to 20 points, maintaining the 5th place, while Ohod's stayed at 6 points in the 15th – and the before last – place.

Al-Faisaly won 2-1 against Al-Ittihad at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium, Al-Jawhara Al-Moshe'ah.

Al-Faisaly's two goals were scored by Diego Calderon and Igor Rossi in the 11th and 54th minutes, respectively, before Fahad Al-Muwallad scored Al-Ittihad's only goal in the 95th minute.

Al-Ittihad's total stayed at 3 points in the 16th place, while Al-Faisaly's increased to 16 points to maintain the 7th place.

The remaining matches of the round shall be resumed on Saturday with three matches. In the first match, Al-Hilal will play against Al-Nasr, in a Riyadh Derby, at King Saud University Stadium. Then, Al-Fat’h will play against Al-Hazm at Prince Abdullah bin Jalawi Sports City Stadium, while Al-Raed will play against Al-Ahli at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in the conclusion of the round matches.
