The Green Falcons wrap up their preparation for the friendly match against Peru

The National Team wrapped up their preparations for the second friendly match against Peru to be held tomorrow on Sunday evening at its current camp in the Swiss city of Bad Ragaz.

The National Team held an evening training session at the Rheinpark Stadium in Liechtenstein, which began with warm-up exercises, followed by recreational exercises in the middle of the circle and ball control exercises. Pizzi then divided the National Team players into two groups for a short maneuver on the entire stadium. The training session was concluded with stretching exercises.

Adel bin Mohammed Ezzat, the Saudi Football Federation Chairman, Nawaf Al-Temyat, the Saudi Arabia Football Federation Vice Chairman and Head of the World Cup Preparation Team, Loay Al-Subayi, the Secretary General and Member of the Preparation Team and Hamza Idris, Member of the Saudi Arabia Football Federation Board of Directors and Member of the Preparation Team attended the training session.

The Head Coach Juan Antonio Pizzi confirmed that the friendly matches aim at following up the development of the players and their implementation of the football mind which he seeks to implement in all the friendly matches. This will help the team to reach perfect command before the World Cup opener against Russia.

“We have to use the same philosophy regardless of the various elements, namely high pressure and useful ball acquisition. We should also have the perfect offensive and defensive rebound”, Pizzi added.

In conclusion, Pizzi said: “We seek to take advantage of this confrontation and to keep benefiting from the technical aspect which makes us more prepared for the official matches”.
