The National Team completed their friendly matches in preparation for the World Cup 2018 in Russia, which kicks off on June 14.
On Friday, the Green Falcons played a friendly match against Germany in Leverkusen, with the hosts wining 2-1 following a strong and honorable performance by the National Team.
Timo Werner scored the first goal on the 8th minute. The second goal was scored on the 43rd minute after the ball hit the foot of Omar Husawi.
Taysir Al-Jassim scored for the Saudi team on the 84th minute on the rebound after the German goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen saved a penalty kick by Mohammed Al Sahlawi.
The National Team prepares to face its Russian counterpart on Thursday at the opener of the World Cup 2018, to be held in the Russian capital of Moscow.
