The national team continued on Friday evening its training in its headquarters in St. Petersburg to prepare for its second match against Uruguay on Wednesday.
The training session was held at Zenit Club’s training fields and started with a meeting held by Coach Juan Antonio Pizzi with the players. Then, Pizzi divided the players into two groups. The first group included the key players who played against Russia, who conducted physical equipment recovery exercises. The second group included the remaining players who conducted regular exercises which started with warm-up exercises followed by goal-scoring exercises. Pizzi then divided the players into two teams on quarter of the pitch and the training ended with stretching exercises.
The national team will hold a training session on Saturday at 6 pm on the training fields of Saint Petersburg’s Zenit Club.
