Green Falcons Continue Preparations to Face Russia

The National Team continued Monday evening its preparations for the opening match of the World Cup against the Russian host to be held next Thursday at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow.

The training session was held on the training fields of Saint Petersburg’s Zenit Club. The session began with warm-up exercises. Coach Juan Antonio Pizzi then divided the players into two groups and conducted a tactical maneuver throughout the field, during which he implemented the tactic the players will adopt at the opening match. The training session ended with stretching exercises.

On Tuesday morning, the national team will hold a training session at 11:45 am on the training fields of Saint Petersburg’s Zenit Club.

The National Team delegation will fly to Moscow tomorrow on Tuesday evening at 7 pm from Pulkovo Airport in St. Petersburg to Vnukovo International Airport in the Russian capital.
