The Green Falcons Leave for Rostov on Monday to Face the Uruguay

The National Team continued on Sunday evening its training in their current camp in the Russian city of Saint Petersburg to prepare for Wednesday match against the Uruguay in the second round of the World Cup group stage.

The training session was held on the training fields of Zenit Club in St. Petersburg. The training started with various warm-up exercises in the Club’s gym then on the pitch with fitness coach Alejandro Richino, followed by speed exercises at various distances.

Coach Juan Pizzi then conducted tactical exercises, including goal scoring, individual attack exercises for the defense players and ended with a tactical maneuver on the entire pitch. On the other side, the goalkeepers coach Frans Hoek conducted various exercises for the goalkeepers that focused on reflex and flexibility.

The National Team will conduct a training session on Monday morning at 11:30 am on St. Petersburg Zenit training fields.

On the other hand, the National Team delegation will leave for Rostov on Monday evening at 7 pm from Pulkovo Airport in St. Petersburg to Platov International Airport.
