In the next 3 participations, the Saudi team emerged from the group stage of the World Cup. While Saudi Arabia did not qualify for the 2010 and 2014 World Cups, for 2018 the Saudi team is part of Group A playing against Russia, Egypt and Uruguay in the group stage.
