Tomorrow, Saturday, the quarter-finals of the AFC Champions League will kick off, as Riyadh will host the matches of the Western Region, starting from the quarter-finals to the final.

The Asian Football Confederation had chosen Saudi Arabia to host the remaining matches of the AFC Champions League for the Western Region, starting with the quarter-finals, in addition to hosting the final match of the tournament on November 23.

The choice of Riyadh to host these matches is an affirmation of the success in hosting 3 groups of the Champions League groups this season, as the Kingdom hosted 3 Champions League groups, including 2 in Riyadh and another in Jeddah, this reflects the confidence of the Asian Football Confederation in the Kingdom's capabilities to organize the various events held under its supervision.

The representatives of Saudi Arabia, Al-Nassr and Al-Hilal, will face an important test in their journey towards reaching the semi-finals, when they face Al-Wehda of the United Arab Emirates and Persepolis of Iran, respectively.

Tomorrow, "Marsool Park" stadium in Riyadh will host Al-Nassr match with Al-Wehda, which will be held at 6 pm, while Al-Hilal will face Persepolis at Prince Faisal bin Fahd Stadium in Malaz at 9 pm.

The two matches are scheduled to be held in full audience attendance, after the Ministry of Sports decided to raise the capacity of the attendance to 100% in the quarter-final matches of the 2021 AFC Champions League for West region teams.

This decision represents a great support for the representatives of Saudi Arabia, Al-Nassr and Al-Hilal in their mission in the Champions League, and it also comes days after allowing 100% crowd attendance in the two matches of the national team against Japan and China, which were hosted by King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah for the Asian qualifiers for the World Cup.
