Next Monday, the Saudi Arabian Football Federation will hold a workshop for the program of supporting the youth groups at the SAFF headquarters in Riyadh at 1:00 pm.

The SAFF invited the supervisor of the youth groups and the CEO of each of the clubs of the leagues of the youth groups to attend the workshop.

This workshop represents the first phase of the program to support the youth groups for the current season 2021-2022, in accordance with the first stage of the Saudi football strategy, which targets the 25 clubs participating in the "premium category" leagues.

The second phase will be announced in the coming period.

The members of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, in coordination with the club support strategy team at the Ministry of Sports, agreed to implement the program to support the youth groups, which includes the development of the structure of the youth groups in the clubs.

The development of the structuring of the youth groups is an opportunity for the clubs to develop a program for young and ambitious Saudi talents by raising technical standards and creating the appropriate environment for development.

It is noteworthy that talent development is one of the paths of the transformation strategy for Saudi football that was announced recently, as a set of targeted solutions will be worked on development paths in coordination with the Ministry of Sports, the Saudi Professional League, clubs and other bodies in the football system, with the aim of preparing The next generation of Saudi football in an optimal way.
