Today (Thursday), the draw for the West Asian Futsal Qualifiers to be held in the United Arab Emirates from April 5-7, which qualify for the Asian finals to be held in the State of Kuwait, was held today (Thursday) at the headquarters of the Asian Football Confederation in the Malaysian capital, Kuala Lumpur.

The draw put the national team in Group A alongside Lebanon, Palestine and Oman, as two teams (the first and second) qualify directly for the finals, while the third plays a play-off with the third-placed in Group B, to determine the five qualified teams from West Asia.

For his part, the director of the Saudi national futsal team, Abdul Rahman Al-Ramah, spoke about the draw that took place today in Kuala Lumpur, saying that the group is not easy and that all the teams participating in the qualifiers are strong, but the Saudi national futsal team is able to overcome this stage and qualify for the upcoming Asian Cup finals.

About the team’s chances of qualifying, he said that all the teams have equal chances and aspire to qualify, but we are determined to qualify and honor Saudi football in the Asian event through good preparation for these qualifiers.
