The Riyadh, Jeddah, Eastern Province, and Qassim teams qualified directly for the finals after playing more matches in the Junior League. Meanwhile, the Al-Jouf, Al-Ahsa, Asir, and Medina teams qualified after advancing through the qualifying rounds of the tournament.
For his part, the SAFF's technical director, Nasser Larguet, stated that the second edition of the Regional Championship is an extension of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation's efforts to discover and develop talent, especially after the success of the first edition last year, which produced numerous talents from various regions of the Kingdom, who will form the nucleus of national teams in the near future.
Larguet added that the tournament represents the culmination of the great work undertaken by the regional training centers, representing an ambitious project to serve Saudi football and opening the door to young talent. He expressed his hope that the second edition of the tournament will achieve further success in discovering and developing talent.
