Saudi Arabia twice came from a goal down to defeat Uzbekistan 3-2 in Group D of the Asian Qualifiers on Thursday.
Eldor Shomurodov put Uzbekistan in front after 16 minutes, before Salman Al-Farag made it 1-1 via a penalty kick after seven minutes.
Eldor Shomurodov retained his national team leadership from the penalty spot in the 57th minute, then the Green Falcons scored two late goals to get the victory
Al-Farag made it 2-2 in the 85th minutes, then Salim Al-Dossari scored the winning goal in the 89th minute.
Saudi Arabia reached 8 points at the top of Group D, on the other hand the Uzbek team remained with 6 points in the second place.
