SAFF board holds second meeting and takes number of decisions

The board of directors of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, SAFF, held, at Thursday afternoon, the second periodic meeting, at the headquarters of Thouq organization, in Dammam, which was chaired by the president of the SAFF, Yasser Al Misehal.
At the beginning of the meeting, the board of directors thanked Thouq organization, chaired by Mohamed Bin Khalid Al-Dobal, and its members for hosting, the SAFF's second periodic meeting of the federation.
For his part, secretary general, Ibrahim Al Kassim, confirmed that the meeting led to approving several decisions, highlighted in holding the draw of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup, round of 64, in October, while holding the draw of the advanced rounds in December.
The SAFF's board approved the launching of second division league association.
The Secretary General pointed out that the board agreed to provide specific financial support to the clubs of Prince Mohamed Bin Salman division one Professionals Cup League, and for the division two league clubs, in order to appoint law firms specialized in sports law to get their services in cases before the international sports courts.
Al Kassim said the SAFF's board approved the proposal of Referees' Committee, about the remunerations of referees and commissioners of Prince Mohamed Bin Salman division one League for Professionals.
"The board had reviewed the technical, administrative and financial reports of future camps for the first national Team, junior teams, futsal team and beach football team.“ he added.
Secretary General cleared that the board recommended with establishing a special committee for futsal to arrange its tournaments and registration of players, as the Competitions Committee will prepare a full study about this topic in two weeks.
Next November was approved for the coming meeting, while the specific date will be determined later, in addition to adopting the initiative of developing technical performance for junior teams, presented by Development and Initiatives Department.
Al Kassim said the board was informed of the reports by the Financial Committee's chairman, Abdalla Kabouha, Khalid Al-Mekren, general supervisor of junior teams, Bandr Al-Ahmadi, director of Development and Initiatives Department, Naeam Al-Bakr, chairman of Competitions Committee, Nazih Al-Nassr, chairman of Social Responsibility and Public Participation Committee.
