
The NT arrives to Tokyo and begins preparing to face Japan

The delegation of the national team arrived this morning in Tokyo, Japan, in preparation for the match against Japan next Tuesday evening at "Saitama Stadium", as part of the eighth round of the final Asian qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup.
The delegation of the national team left Jeddah yesterday evening, Friday, from King Abdulaziz International Airport, headed by the president of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, Yasser Al Misehal, and the Secretary-General Ibrahim Al Kassim.
It is worth noting that, upon their arrival at Haneda International Airport, the national team mission conducted a COVID-19 test, in implementation of special medical protocols in Japan, which showed the safety of all mission elements.
On the other hand, the national team inaugurated today, Saturday, its training in the city of "Tokyo", the capital of Japan, in the presence and follow-up of the President of the Board of Directors of the SAFF, Yasser Al Misehal, and the Secretary-General Ibrahim Al Kassim.
Al Misehal met players before the start of the training session, stressing the importance and difficulty of the upcoming match against the Japanese national team, as it is against a rival team which plays on its stadium and among its fans, Wishing them success in achieving the desired goal.
On the field, the players conducted their training session at the reserve stadium of "Saitama Stadium", under the supervision of coach "Herve Renard", as the players practiced various recovery exercises.
On the other hand, the national team will hold a closed training session tomorrow, Sunday, at 7 PM, at the reserve stadium of "Saitama Stadium".
