The Professional Committee receives an apology from FIFA for not closing the TMS system on time

Reference to the media clarification issued by the Professionalism and Player Conditions Committee of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation on January 31, 2022, related to the failure to close the TMS International Players Matching System at the predetermined time, which is the end of January 30, 2022.

Based on what was stated in the fourth paragraph of the clarification, which included that the Professionalism and Players Conditions Committee sent an email to the FIFA to inquire about the reason for not closing the system for club users according to the date listed before the start of the sports season in the FIFA TMS system, despite specifying the periods before The beginning of the season, despite the closure of the system with the employees of the Professional Committee at the same time announced by the Saudi Arabian Football Federation and circulated to the clubs in the annual circular of the committee.

The Professional Committee confirms that it has received, today, Wednesday, the official response from the body responsible for the system in the International Football Association (FIFA TMS Helpdesk) regarding the incident, in which it apologised for the problem, explaining that what happened is a technical problem, and is currently being followed up by FIFA technical team.

The responsible authority in FIFA also confirmed in its response that this technical problem has no effect on the registration period, which was clarified by the Professional Committee in the previous clarification, that any registration request submitted after the end of January 30 at 12:00:00 am was not accepted.
