
The NT beach soccer beats Bahrain in a friendly match in preparation for WAFF Championship

The national beach soccer team defeated Bahrain 3-2, in their first friendly match today (Friday), on the dirt pitch of Bahrain National Stadium, in its current camp in Bahrain, in preparation for participating in the The West Asian Football Federation Championship, scheduled to be held in Jeddah, next May.
The team's goals were scored by Khaled Waheeb (two goals) and Muhannad Al-Subhi.
The coach of the national team, (Brazilian) Joja Zlokovic, decided to involve most of the players, employ them and rotate them in an appropriate way.
It was decided that the two teams will play the second friendly match next Sunday at the same stadium.
The NT continues their preparations for the friendly match against Egypt as part of their 2026 World Cup preparation program
