The national futsal team will open tomorrow (Saturday) its matches in the fourth West Asian Federation Championship in Kuwait from 4 to 13 June.

The national futsal team will face Palestine national team at the opening match of the tournament at 4:00 pm in Al-Nasr Club hall.

The national futsal team finished its preparations for the match by holding a training session in Kazma club hall, led by coach (Spanish) Andrew Plaza, who drew up the plan that he will adopt in the match and implemented it in the training session, to conclude with a maneuver in the entire hall.

On the other hand; The organizing committee of the tournament held a meeting with all the representatives of the teams, during which the mechanism for deciding the title and the conditions, regulations and instructions of the tournament were clarified, in addition to determining the colors of the teams in all matches.

For his part, the coach of the national futsal team (Spanish) Andrew Plaza, spoke at the press conference held in the conference hall of the Kuwait Football Association, saying: “In the beginning, I welcome all media, in fact we are in a strong group, whether from the side of the teams or coaches who have a good CV at the level of the game, all the teams of the group have the same chances of qualifying for the next rounds of the tournament.

About facing the Palestinian national team, he said the Palestinian national team is a strong team, and we have previously played with it in the last West Asian qualifiers and won it, and it was a strong match for us, and we respect it and all the teams.

Andrew Plaza hoped that the national team would continue its high and rising levels and achieve positive results in the tournament.
