The national futsal team qualified for the semi-finals of the fourth West Asian Federation Championship held in Kuwait, after defeating Iraq, 3-2, at Al-Nasr Club Hall.
The national futsal team managed to turn its 0-1loss to 3-2 win, as goals scored by Abdulelah Al-Otaibi (two goals) and Saleh Al-Qarni one goal.
At the end of the group stage, The national team gained 6 points out of 9 points to be the runner up of the first group in the fourth West Asian Federation Championship held in Kuwait, waiting to determine the team that will face it in the semi-finals.
