The Founding Committee of the Financial Fair Play Law held the first workshop with the clubs of the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Professional Cup League, via video.
The workshop was held with the aim of explaining the mechanism of the committee's work system and the future plans it aims to achieve for the next three years.
Earlier this month, the Board of Directors of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation approved the start of the work of the founding committee of the Fair Financial Play Law, coinciding with the financial year of sports clubs and the issuance of financial statements corresponding to June 30, 2022.
In the first phase of its work, the founding committee aims to prepare regulations to ensure spending efficiency control, contribute to financial stability and create financial sustainability in order to achieve a financial balance between revenues and expenses, through joint work with the Financial Efficiency Committee at the Ministry of Sports.
It is noteworthy that the committee will hold another workshop in the coming days for Yelo League clubs.
