SAFF launches The Best Fans Award

The Saudi Arabian Football Federation's Social Responsibility and Public Participation Committee announced launching The Best Fans Award for the current season.
This award comes within the context of the SAFF and Social Responsibility and Public Participation Committee interest about the Saudi audience, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, especially since football in the Kingdom enjoys a great public follow-up and healthy competition between the fans to support the national team and clubs significantly.
The idea of this award came as an appreciation for the fans of the clubs that paint a wonderful and honorable image of encouragement in the Kingdom, based on the principle of motivation and raising the value of the public competition.
For his part, the Chairman of the Social Responsibility and Public Participation Committee, Nazih Al-Nassr, affirmed that this award will be based on a set of different criteria, including the percentage of the mass attendance for each team in the total of their league matches, the number of disciplinary violations recorded against the club's fans, the effectiveness of encouragement, the organization of audience councils and innovative and implemented initiatives through the public or with them.
Nazih Al-Nassr expressed his hope that this award will contribute to raising moral values and reducing any possible negative phenomena.
