
The Competitions Committee hold a workshop with the supervisors of youth groups in the clubs

The Competitions Committee of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation held a workshop for the supervisors of the youth groups in the clubs in preparation for the launch of the U-19 Premier League and the U-17 Premier League for the upcoming sports season 2022-2023, in the presence of the President of the Committee, Naim Al-Bakr, and the Technical Director of the SAFF Nasser Larquette, and the administrative director of the national teams, Mohamed Al-Hamid.
The workshop witnessed a review of the calendar of the participation of the youth teams for the next season, with a presentation of the complete calendar of the youth and junior league competitions, and touched on the most prominent obstacles that faced the competitions last season, before discussing the opinions and proposals of the clubs and raising appropriate recommendations regarding them.
The president of the Competitions Committee in the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, Naim Al-Bakr, stressed the federation’s keenness to raise the level of competitions for the youth groups to be the best tributary for the national teams and the first team in clubs, as it is the main pillar of the Saudi national teams and the first team, noting that the SAFF worked last season to raise the rewards of the teams and distribute them fully to all the teams, as well as the development of a program to support the youth groups, which developed from the technical and organizational work of the sectors of the youth groups.
Al-Bakr explained that the SAFF will work on more of these programs and workshops to enhance the work of these sectors, increase the competitiveness of competitions, and continue the superiority of the national teams, in light of the great support received by Saudi sports from the wise leadership, following the follow-up of His Highness the Minister of Sports and the interest of the president and members of the federation’s board of directors.
