The quarter-finals of the Arab Youth Cup, which will be hosted in Abha until August 6, will kick off on Sunday with the participation of 18 teams.
Yesterday, Thursday, the group stage was concluded, as 8 teams managed to reserve their seats in the quarter-finals, namely Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Algeria, Egypt, Tunisia and Morocco, the top teams of six groups, while Yemen and Palestine qualified as the best second placed.
The national team achieved the full mark in the group stage after defeating Mauritania and Iraq to qualify at the top of the first group, while Jordan national team won the second group with beating Yemen and a draw against UAE, while Algeria achieved the full mark in the third group by defeating Lebanon and Libya.
Egypt national team topped Group D with its victories over Oman and Somalia, while Tunisia took the top spot in Group E with a full score by defeating Bahrain and Djibouti, while Morocco finished at the top of Group F by defeating Sudan and Palestine.
It is scheduled to start the quarter-finals next Sunday, as the national team will face Yemen, while Egypt national team will face Morocco, while Jordan will face Palestine, while Algeria will face Tunisia.
