Al-Aqeel's apology was accepted as Abdul Rahman Al-Omari was appointed as Vice-President of the Referees Committee

The Board of Directors of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation accepted the apology made by the Vice-President of the Referees Committee, Abdullah Al-Aqeel, for not continuing in his position, based on his special circumstances, and assigning him as an advisor to the committee.

The Swiss President of the Referees Committee, Manuel Navarro, on his behalf and on behalf of the members of the committee, thanked and appreciated Al-Aqeel for his work during the last period, wishing him success.

SAFF also decided to appoint Abdul Rahman Al-Omari as Vice-President of the Referees Committee, in addition to his duties in supervising the sub-committees of the referees, as the relevant committees will be evaluated and restructured in accordance with the new regulations.

Al-Omari has technical and administrative experience, as he was included in the work of sub-committees until he reached the general supervision of the committees, and has refereeing experience as he was a FIFA accredited referee in addition to his current work as a coach.
