Tomorrow, Saturday, the Saudi Reserve League will continue in its first edition, as Abha and Al-Fayha will meet at Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Sports City Stadium in Almahalah, one day after their match in Roshn Professional League, as the reserve league will be held in the system of matches equivalent to the professional league.
The Saudi Reserve League kicked off on Thursday with a single match that saw Al-Fateh beat Al-Tae 4-1, as 7 clubs are participating in the league: Al-Shabab, Ettifaq, Abha, Al-Fateh, Al-Fayha, Al-Tai and Al-Wahda.
The competition is being held in the full league system “home and away”, provided that its matches will be with the professional league matches for the participating teams with a total of 42 matches per season, provided that each club is allowed to register 20 players in the list of matches according to several requirements, represented in that the player is registered in the first team list, the players who are registered in the club's list in the lowest rank are also entitled to participate in the reserve league matches.
The clubs participating in the league will receive a financial support of two million riyals, in addition to the league prizes totaling 2,825,000 riyals, in addition to increasing the number of players registered in the first team list from 30 to 35 players.
