The national beach soccer team has made a big jump in the national teams monthly ranking, which is issued by the International Beach Soccer Federation, and it is the highest in its history, by reaching the 35th position in the world, surpassing national teams that preceded it in the game.

The International Beach Soccer Federation published the classification this month (September), for all beach soccer national teams, which is led by the Russian national team, followed by the Portuguese and then the Brazilian, while the national team ranked 35th in the world, and fifth in Asia and the Arab world.

This number represents the highest leap in the history of our beach soccer team, as it ranked 114th in 2019, 98th in 2020, 95th in 2021, and 50th in the penultimate classification.

The jump in the world rankings came after the national team positive results in Morocco International Championship, in which it came third, and the West Asian Federation Championship, where it came fifth in the general ranking of the tournament held in the Kingdom last May, in addition to participating in many international friendly matches.

Saudi beach soccer returned to participate again in 2019 after a pause for about 5 years, as the return was through the NEOM International Championship after the last participation was in the Arab Championship that was held in Sharm El-Sheikh in 2014.

On the same level; The duo Mubarak Al-Dosari and Majid Shamhani entered the list of the 100 best international players in beach soccer.

The coach of the national beach soccer team, Brazilian Joga Zlokovic, was ranked seventh for the top 20 coaches in the world.
