The women's national team concluded, on Wednesday, the second phase of its preparatory program, in preparation for the upcoming sports competitions, a phase that included two friendly matches against Bhutan.

A 3-3 draw settled the first match that was held last Saturday, as Al-Bandari Mubarak and Noura Ibrahim scored for the national team, while the second match, which was held on Wednesday, ended with the victory of Bhutan national team 4-2, as Al-Bandari Mubarak and Maryam Al-Tamimi scored the goals of the national team.

The national team started the first stage with a preparatory camp in Salvden, Austria, which lasted for 15 days, before moving to Abha with a camp that lasted for 17 days.

The German coach of the national team , Monica Stubb, confirmed that the second phase of the preparatory program achieved all its goals, noting that the technical staff was looking to raise the physical and technical level of the players throughout the last period before the two matches with Bhutan, through contact with teams that have great experience in matches. International, expressing its ambition for the national team to enter the classification of the International Federation of Football Associations "FIFA" officially.

Monica added: “It was a positive period that increased the level of harmony between the players, and getting used to a high level of competition in such matches, something that will develop more and more with the start of the Premier League and the First Division League next month, in a positive step, especially that official clubs will compete, in the presence of technical and administrative staffs at the highest level.
